Time is running out to buy your yearbook at the $20 price!!
Starting on January 27, 2012 the price of the 2011-2012 Clara Love Yearbook will raise to $25 each! Due to our deadline to our yearbook company, ABSOLUTELY NO orders will be taken after February 24, 2012.

Will you pledge just 3 hours?
We aren't asking for 3 hours a day, we aren't asking you for 3 hours a week, we aren't even asking you for 3 hours a month. We are asking you to pledge ONLY 3 hour during the entire 2011-2012 school year to help us at Clara Love Elementary! Imagine ALL that we could accomplish if every family volunteered just 3 hours a year. That would equal out to be about 1500 volunteer hours!
If you can pledge "Three for Me" please go to our Volunteer Page found HERE to make your pledge and sign up. On that page you can also tell us when you are available to volunteer and what areas and events you are interested in participating in.
As a reminder ALL volunteers need to have a background check on file with the Northwest ISD. If you have not yet done your background check please do so by filling out the online form found HERE. The background check is NOT the blue volunteer form you filled out at the beginning of the year. If you are unsure if you have completed your backgroud check, please speak with the front office and they can check to see if you have a background check on file.

Carnations
For only $1.00, you can brighten someone's day, remind a friend that they are loved, or let a special teacher or student know you appreciate them. Turn in your carnation form and money before January 27th. You print out an order form HERE.
2012 - 2013 PTA Board
If you are interested in making a difference, you are invited to become a member of the Clara Love PTA Executive Board. The Nominating Committe is conducting a search to find parents who would like to assume a leadership role on our PTA Executive Board and make a difference. There is a place for EVERYONE willing to work and make a difference for our children.
The Nominating Committee is interested in your suggestion for officer cadidates to serve for the 2012 - 2013 school year. This is a great way to make an invaluable contribution to students of Clara Love. Nomination forms can be found at the main office or you can email our President Candi Westbrook at cwestbrook@claralovepta.org

Drop off & Pick up
Thank you to all parents on working with us to get the students to and from school. We strongly encourage you to work with your neighbors to work on Car Pool or Walking Groups to cut down on the traffic going to and from the school. Please check the new Pick-up/Drop-off procedures HERE
We ask all parents to be patient with us and other parents as we work our way into the new routine.

Help our school!
Clara Love Elementary is now enrolled in the Target Take Charge of Education Partnership Plan. Our school will now receive 5% of money spent at Target from anyone who has enrolled their Target Red Card and designated Clara Love as their school.
