Clara Love Elementary First Grade Teacher
Tell us something about yourself?
I am an identical twin. I love listening to music, reading books, and watching movies! I enjoy scrap booking, but I am not very good at it!
What dreams do you have for the future?
I would like to have another child to add to my family. I would like to continue teaching and helping kids to be successful and happy in and out of the classroom.
Do you have a favorite quote?
"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth." (Mark Twain)
Who was your role model when you were a kid and why?
My mom was always my role model because she is so selfless and takes care of everyone! I remember hoping I would be the same kind of mom she is when I had my own children.
When you were in elementary school did you have a favorite subject?
My favorite subject was always reading. It is still one of my favorite things to do.
Do you have pets? How many and what kind?
No, but my husband really wants us to get a dog. I told him when our little guy can say woof we can get one J.
What advice do you have for the Clara Love students?
To choose JOY every day, do your best work always, and keep learning! You get to make it a great day if you want to.

Tell us something about yourself?
I am from Oklahoma. Go Sooners! I love to eat tomatoes, that are my favorite snack. I play the French Horn and Piano.
What dreams do you have for the future?
I have dreams to travel more, but also to go back to school for my masters.
Do you have a favorite quote?
"A good folk song is a perfect masterpiece in itself" Zoltan Kodaly
Who was your role model when you were a kid and why?
My big sister was my role model. I remember wanting to be just like her and especially dress like her.
When you were in elementary school did you have a favorite subject?
Math - I enjoy working with numbers and problem solving.
Do you have pets? How many and what kind?
I don't have any pets that I live with me. But our family dog, Shadow, lives in Oklahoma with my parents. He is a 10 year old Golden Retriever.
What advice do you have for the Clara Love students?
Always give 100% of your effort and be a problem solver.
